A disappearing race

It was really exciting to see a piece that I wrote in the Pendulum. It took me more drafts than expected and I had more interviews than I could ever imagine including in one article, but it was worth it in the end. This morning a friend of mine opened up the newspaper and went right past the news section. She skipped over my article! It’s ok though, I made her read it later.
